Information Oakville, a department of Oakville Public Library, is dedicated to providing residents of Oakville with up-to-date, quality information regarding supports and resources available to the community. and they are the lead agency of Halton Information Providers.

Community Development Halton strengthens community well‑being across Halton by supporting local nonprofits, grassroots groups, and residents through research, engagement, and capacity‑building. 

Its pillar program, Volunteer Halton, is the region’s volunteer centre, connecting people with meaningful volunteer opportunities and offering training, workshops, and tools that help organizations engage volunteers effectively.
